Welcome to the Eagle Post


Normal Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm | Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm

Located on the first floor of the University Union the Eagle Post provides complete mail services including PO Boxes, Stamps, Postage and Shipping Services. PO Boxes are free to students currently living in the Residence Halls. Boxes may be rented for $35 for 6 months or $70 for a year. Access to your PO Box is available during normal Union business hours.

Mailbox Sign-Up

Please fill out this application form completely and print it out. Bring the completed form along with your UNT ID Card and government Photo ID that you listed on the sign-up sheet to Eagle Post which is located on the first floor of the University Union Building. Each student will be assigned a Box Number and be given a key.

Residence Hall Move-In

During Move-In week, each Residence Hall is assigned a day to come in and sign up for a PO Box. View the Residence Hall Assignments for that week below. After Move-In week, all residence halls are open to sign-up.

Students who need to return their mailbox key and close their PO Box with Eagle Post may mail their key in using the following address:

Student Information

  • EaglePost is located in the Union Building on the first floor next to Barnes and Noble Bookstore and Jamba Juice.

  • An E-mail is sent directly to the students UNT E-Mail address immediately after the package is scanned in and assigned to their name.

  • Only Students that currently live in a Residence Hall get a free PO Box. Any UNT student may rent a PO Box if they do not live in the Residence Hall and wish to have a PO Box with EaglePost.

  • Click here to fill out the Mailbox Sign-up Sheet. Please fill out this application form completely and print it out. Services

  • - Postage Stamps (Forever) are currently $.55 cents each
    - Stamps are also sold in Books of 20 for $11.00
    - Global Forever Stamps are $1.20 each
    - Postcard Stamps are $.35 cents
    - Pre-Stamped #10 Envelopes are available for $.69 cents each

  • The Eagle Post has USPS Priority Mail Supplies available. Postage Rates to ship Priority are the following:

    - Priority Flat Rate Letter $7.75
    - Priority Bubble Pak $8.40
    - Small Flat Rate Box $8.30
    - Medium Flat Rate Box $15.05
    - Large Flat Rate Box $21.10

    Priority Tyvek Envelope and Large Shipping Boxes rates are determined by Destination Zip Code and weight.

  • UNT students, faculty, and staff may also drop off prepaid packages and Boxes to the Eagle Post to be sent out on the next scheduled pick up by each Delivery Carrier. This includes UPS, Fedex, USPS, FedEx Ground and DHL.

    The Eagle Post will tape the package or Box and place the prepaid shipping label in a pouch for attachment to the package if needed.
