Who Is the Program Designed For?

The Certificate in Cyber Security program is designed for students with no security experience or background and is a great option for students initially seeking employment in the cyber security field.  It is also a great fit for working professionals seeking cyber-related career development opportunities while maintaining their jobs.  All students may apply new knowledge in an employment-related study project.

This program will also build upon the knowledge of students who have obtained their undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice.  It will also strengthen the academic training of those who have obtained undergraduate degrees in other disciplines.

• Work with a company, or instructors, to help solve a problem that is often confronted in the cyber security world.  Develop a white paper that could be presented at a conference, published in a journal or presented as expert level proposal to a cyber security company.

This is a hybrid program held over 4 months.  Most classes are online, with 3 live classes scheduled over the duration of the program.  All instructors are field professionals.
