Research development aligns with the strategic plan of the VPRI to help researchers at the University of North Texas seek and secure external funding, build interdisciplinary teams, and liaise between different units on campus to build better proposals. Some of our resources include:

Connecting researchers to each other
Conducting and sponsoring relevant workshops and events
Managing the limited submissions process
Identifying external funding opportunities for UNT researchers
Providing technical editing support on proposals (targeted for non-native English speakers)
