What you get: Flex Dollars are an easy-to-use, cashless payment method accepted at every Dining Services venue on campus, including your favorite Retail Restaurants like Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and The Campus Chat Food Court.
Where: Any Retail Restaurant, Dining Hall and Discovery Park
When: Anytime Dining Services venues are open during the Fall semester or Spring semester.
How: When asked for your payment method, tell the cashier you’re using Flex and swipe your Student ID.
Why we love it: When you purchase Flex, we add in a Bonus, giving you even more Flex Spending Power. The more Flex you purchase upfront, the more you’ll save on every meal.
Good to know: Monitor your Flex balance online. Sales tax is charged at the time of Meal Plan purchase so you won’t be charged sales tax at the register when using Flex.
Available for purchase anytime. Each Flex Plan may be purchased up to 4 times per semester. Unused Flex expires on December 11, 2020 for Fall Plans or on May 7, 2021 for Spring Plans. Refunds are available through 11:59 p.m. on the "Last day to withdraw for 100% refund" as listed in the Refunds for Withdrawing From Session schedule set by Student Financial Services. Bonus Funds are not refundable. Expired Flex is not refundable. Prices with tax: $898.48, $487.13, $256.55 and $105 respectively.

Why we love it: Save money and time when you let us do the dishes 8 meals per week – that’s 30% less than our Standard Door Rate.
Good to know: Your 8 weekly meals are activated each Monday of the semester and may be used any day, any time that week.

Eight’s Enough Plans may be purchased 1 time per semester, but you can add any other Plan on top of your Eight’s Enough and use both. Unused meals expire each Sunday night. Why we love it: The best of both worlds — on your terms! Combine always-there-for-you Dining Hall meals with Flex to enjoy for convenient takeout and late-night Retail Restaurant options, including The Campus Chat Food Court, Fuzzy’s Tacos and Jamba.
Good to know: Purchase your Dining Hall Plan and your Flexible Plan “à la carte” anytime. You’ll purchase each Plan separately but use them however you choose. Refund requests will be processed "à la carte," that is, by applying the policies for each individual Plan that comprises the combination. A student may request a refund of one or both components of a combination Plan.

Declining Balance functions like a debit card—each time you make a purchase, the cost is deducted from the balance on your card. It's a dollar-for-dollar exchange, so if you purchase $100 in Declining Balance, you will have $100 in Declining Balance loaded onto your student ID. Declining Balance rolls over semester-to-semester. Available for purchase anytime. Declining Balance $100 may be purchased up to 2 times per semester. Unused portion is refundable anytime upon request within 365 days after the last use. After one year of inactivity, the Membership will expire. Once expired, a Member’s Plan will become ineligible for use or refund. Tax is charged when using Declining Balance at the register, rather than when purchasing Declining Balance online.

Good to know: Running low on Flex? Add more at any time with a Flexible Plan. Unlimited Everyday Plans are available for purchase anytime. Unused Flex expires on December 11, 2020 for Fall Plans and on May 7, 2021 for Spring Plans. Once activated, these Plans are refundable in very limited circumstances. All Unlimited Plans are available to every student, no matter where you live, and are priced by semester.
All first-year student rooms on campus and some Upperclassman rooms are bundled with an Unlimited Meal Plan. Simply choose from our 6 Unlimited Meal Plans when you apply for Housing.
Meal Plans are optional — but recommended — for Upperclassmen living in College Inn, Honors, Legends, Mozart, Santa Fe and Traditions, and all other UNT students, including graduate students. These students may select any Meal Plan.
