Haunga joined the Mean Green coaching staff as an offensive quality control coach in March of 2020 after spending the 2019 season at Auburn as a graduate assistant.
Prior to his season at Auburn, where he worked with the Tigers’ offensive line, Haunga worked with current Mean Green co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Mike Bloesch at Tulsa for three seasons. Haunga was a graduate assistant in 2016 on the athletic performance staff, an offensive graduate assistant in 2017 and was promoted to be an offensive analyst ahead of the 2018 season.

Haunga served as the defensive line coach at Kuna High School in Idaho, and also spent time as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of California and Boise State. He was a two-year letterman on the offensive line at Arkansas State University and served as team captain his senior season. He played two seasons at College of the Canyons before moving on to Arkansas State.Â
