Family Orientation
Welcome to the Trailblazer family!
At UNT Dallas we recognize that parent and family involvement is key to student success. We want to ensure that you are comfortable and familiar with all the University has to offer in order to support your student as they transition to our campus.
While orientation is mandatory for new students, parents are not required to attend. However, we highly encourage you to take advantage of our family orientation programming.
What will you get out of participating?
- Ask the questions you have and make sure you can mark off your to-do list
- Familiarize yourself with the campus and the staff members
- Gain knowledge about the various support services and initiatives
- Learn about academic expectations, involvement opportunities and how to take care of business with UNT Dallas
The family orientation program will be offered on the following dates:
- July 15th 5:30-7:00pm
- August 11th 5:30-7:00pm (CANCELED)
(Spanish) En Español - La participación de los padres es de mucha importancia para UNT Dallas. La conexión entre los padres y el proceso educativo de sus hijos es una base más sólida para el éxito del estudiante. El programa de Orientación Familiar es una oportunidad para recibir información sobre como la Universidad apoya a su estudiantes. El programa no es obligatorio, si su horario se lo permite, los invitamos a participar. Padres que gustarian de una orientación en Español, deberian indicarlo al registrarse para la Orientación Familiar.
Las fechas del programa de Orientación Familiar en Español son:
