Kathleen Hobson (they, them, theirs)

Director

Originally from Ohio, Kathleen received their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ohio University and their Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron. Kathleen has worked in higher education full-time for nine years and started their journey in Housing and Residence Life at Alfred State College in Alfred, NY. They moved to Denton in 2014 to open UNT’s Pride Alliance, where they currently serve as Director. Kathleen also serves on OUTreach Denton’s Steering Committee and as an executive board member of PRIDENTON. Their previous Queer work includes five years on ACPA’s Coalition for Gender Identity and Sexuality, four years as Southwest Region Rep for the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals, and two years on the (Dallas) Black Tie Board of Directors. Kathleen is a Capricorn and a Slytherin and enjoys spending time with their cats Ailbhe and Séamus, working on home and furniture projects, and planning trips to see their family and Queer Sibs.

Les Delgado (they, them, theirs)

Student Assistant

Les is one of the Student Assistants for the Pride Alliance, working on the social media for the office. Les is a graduate student in the Higher Education program and hopes to use their narrative and experiences as a first-generation, Latinx, queer and trans student to positively impact others and be of support to students navigating their identities in the future. When not in the office, Les can be found keeping up with the latest memes or reading about true crime with their two cats Mickey and Tuxedo.

Natalie Crawford (she, her, hers)

Student Assistant

Natalie is the Graphic Designer Student Assistant for the Pride Alliance. As part of this role, she creates all of the posters, graphics, and social media images. She is a Pre-Communication Design major with a plan on minoring in LGBTQ Studies. She is always excited to help people, and follows her life motto: Be happy and make others happy. In her free time, she is listening to musicals, hanging out with friends, or playing video games in her room.
