Alisa

Alisa Coffey
D.M.A. student, Harp Performance
As a doctoral candidate in UNT’s renowned Music Arts program and the principal harpist in the Arkansas Symphony, Alisa’s talents have been recognized by the Israel International Harp Competition, CNN and The Washington Post. Her research in the Suzuki method and other memorization techniques promotes making musical training more accessible to children.

Ph.D. student, Computer Science and Engineering
Biomedical AI Lab Manager

Thasina uses machine learning to improve health outcomes and reduce treatment costs for individuals with transfemoral amputations who use a micro-processor-controlled knee.

   

Joshua Lopez
Ph.D. student, History
The inaugural recipient of the Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Fellowship, he's exploring the unique relationships people have with food, specifically those who identify as queer and Chicanx/Latinx.
