Year-End Giving and Holiday Hours
During the winter break, we are open for business! Below are some guidelines to help you make your 2020 gift to UNT.
To be receipted as 2020 gifts:
- Cash gifts, including currency and checks, must be postmarked on or before Dec. 31.
- Electronic transfer/wire/securities must be received in the university’s (or UNT Foundation’s, as appropriate) bank account by the end of the day on Dec. 31.
- Credit card gifts must be completed on or before Dec. 31. A credit card gift is considered “completed” at the time the card is charged, so the postmark deadline of Dec. 31 does not apply for this method of giving. To ensure your gift is receipted for 2020, please allow in-house processing time for mailed credit card donations.

Receipts for gifts received during the university’s winter break will be processed when staff returns to the office full-time the week of Jan. 4.
