It all started with changing from CenturyLink to Spectrum for my phone and internet. Spectrum told me to wait to cancel with CenturyLink to keep my original phone number. I finally got a call back from CenturyLink to cancel. They tell me I need a password to cancel. I tell them I don’t know the password. Mind you this has been almost 10 years since I set it up. I don’t know that there ever was a password.

Gas turbine power plant developer William Siderewicz has already developed two large power plants in Ohio, including one in Lordstown and a second near Toledo. He plans two more, next to the first plants. But renewed talk of a state bailout for the two FirstEnergy Solutions nuclear plants has jeopardized funding for the new plants, he said. The gas plants would help keep customer prices low, Siderewicz argues. The FES bailout, funded by customers state-wide whether or not they are FES customers, would increase monthly bills.

Did you know Frontier charges customers a $9.99 “broadband processing fee” when canceling residential internet service? Sounds shady, if not illegal.I only learned this after paying what was supposed to be my last payment of $6.47. I’ve been a customer for 10 years but quit after seeing they charge $65 for 12 mbps. Spectrum is the same price for 100 mbps.
