Have you seen today's Google Doodle? It honors renowned computer scientist and #Fulbright alumnus Michael Dertouzos!

Dr. Dertouzos attended the University of Arkansas from 1954-1956 as a Fulbright Foreign Student from Greece. He is known for predicting how computers would impact our lives, playing an instrumental role in creating the World Wide Web Consortium, and leading Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)'s Laboratory for Computer Science.

Google is honoring computer scientist Michael Dertouzos, who predicted how the internet and the rise of personal computers would impact people's lives, with a new Doodle on what would have been his 82nd birthday.

This week Fulbright Scholar Prof. Peter Yoon traveled from Addis Ababa to Gaborone to build capacity within local tertiary institutions on teaching, research, a...nd curriculum development in computer science and engineering degree programs. Prof. Yoon will also participate at an International Conference on The Internet, Cyber Security, and Information, and then Data Week, both to be held in Gaborone.
