Show off your latest development and receive feedback from the UNT community by participating in one of the Factory’s showcases.
DONATE
Donate equipment or materials to help expand the maker space capacity and capability. Old or new, fabric or electronics, donations help students develop inspired and innovative projects.

Knowledge sharing is one of the founding principles of our makerspace. We have offer workshops/events to allow for knowledge sharing. We are happy to have outside experts share their experience and knowledge through an event hosted by the makerspace. If you are interested in volunteering for a knowledge share, please email us at Sparklead@unt.edu
The makerspace has at least two showcases a year to highlight projects made using equip,emt from the space. We welcome users to submit their projects to be on display at the showcase as well. To get more information about the next showcase you can send an email.
Showcases happen during each long semester, fall and spring. The next showcase is planned to be in the fall 2020 semester.
The makerspace accepts donations of materials. The University will send you a receipt for materials donated. There is a large range of resources and materials that can assist the makerspace in continuing to offer workshops, learning engagement events and student project development. In the event you find you have supplies, tools, or resources that you want to give, please consider the makerspace.
