Happy Birthday President James Garfield! The only two marches Sousa dedicated to presidents of the United States were composed for James A. Garfield, and they marked the beginning and end of his short tenure of office. The first was the stately President Garfield’s Inauguration March, which bears the inscription Opus 131. It was first performed by the U.S. Marine Band, with Sousa conducting, at the inauguration ceremonies on March 4, 1881. The second march honoring President Garfield was “In Memoriam.” To download The Complete Marches of John Philip Sousa, visit: http://bit.ly/CompleteMarchesSousa1

- Earl Grant Steele III 24 mins · Gary Sinise, Has championed the cau...se (along with Toby Keith and Trace Atkins); to help our wounded Veterans (and their families). These great men, have more money, than you and I will (probably) ever see. Yet, they risk their lives, to be flown into hostile war zones, donate hundreds of Millions (of their hard earned dollars), and will drop everything on their schedules, to actively support our brave men and women in uniform (and their families)!!! Furthermore, they have led the fight, to improve the treatment (and living conditions), of our service personnel, at Walter Reed Medical Center, Bethesda Naval Hospital, and various VA Hospitals/Clinics (across this country)!!! Why, do they do all of this? Because, they are Real Americans, who respect our Veterans; and want to, do whatever, they can, to show their appreciation for the freedoms provided, by these men and women (and their families)'s sacrifices!!! Donald Trump is going to choose, the next Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs. I believe, that it should be Gary Sinise. If you believe, as I do, Please, like and share this post. Please contact someone connected to the Trump/Pence transition team. Do whatever you can; to make your voices heard, on this important issue!!!
