To the UNT Community:
Since the end of... January, our staff has been proactive and implemented additional cleaning efforts to provide more attention to disinfecting all surfaces that guests primarily touch:
· All handrails
· Elevator buttons
· Water fountain buttons
· Door handles; Main entry chrome eagle handles
· Microwave buttons
· Countertops
· Chat chairs/backs
· Soap dispenser push levers
· Bathroom partition stall door lock
· Gondola, vacuum cleaner handles, push broom handles, etc.
· Buttons and steering wheels on scrubbers or machines
· Desk phone buttons and handset

In addition:
· During spring break we deep cleaned all furniture - including vacuuming and steam cleaning soft furniture.
· We have also added a germ killing Lysol spray at all of our reception areas; staff in those areas are using multiple times a day to clean surfaces. We drop off fresh rags daily and pick them up for cleaning at the end of the day.
· We are wiping down all meeting tables/chairs between uses.

For now, we are open from 7a-7p this week for those that need a space. UNT Dining Services has a few locations open if you're in need of food. We strongly encourage you all to remain safe, cautious, use best judgement, and continue to practice safe distancing. Please refer to https://healthalerts.unt.edu for the latest information in this increasingly challenging and unprecedented time. Stay safe y'all, we're all in this together.
