Cataloging and Metadata Services
During the Spring 2020 Semester, most departments are working remotely. Phone calls will forward to voice mail in many cases, but you may wish to use email as a primary means of communication.
Due to high demand of services and limited availability, expect delays in processing of requests from some units.
About Us
The Cataloging and Metadata Services Department creates and maintains the accuracy of the records in the Online Catalog for the General Collection for a variety of materials - books, online resources, streaming media, streaming audio, maps, and posters. The department also maintains information about UNT’s collection in the OCLC WorldCatsystem which Interlibrary Loan uses to lend and borrow materials.
