Here's a project that I hope to launch next spring... and am interested to hear from some fresh voices...
So, I am currently recruiting artists to participate in the Mailbox Project. My hopes is to create an edition for each region. For example, we are launching wit...h the Austin/Texas edition next spring and that will include 10 artists. If we are successful, we hope to be able to take the project to Boston, New York, Chicago and so on, we'll need more artists. Although I have some artists in mind, I am open to hear from others that might be interested in participating.
Although I will provide more details to the selected artists, the work must be able to be reproduced in letterpress, with a limit of 2 colors. I am open to different styles, but an illustrative or more graphic style is probably more suitable. The work will be reproduced as a 4"x6" postcard. Interested artists can just send me a private message. If I am not familiar with your work, please make sure to include your website. Thanks!
