Someone on a Facebook group I am a part of posted the following: “I am looking for women who work in artistic fields to share about their careers with middle school girls at UT Dallas Innovate(her) on February 21. I am thinking graphic designers, video game animators, museum curators, painters, fashion, etc! The more variety the better - I would love to introduce the girls to more possibilities than they ever knew existed. Do you have any referrals for me? I am also looking f...or math and engineering representatives.

There are three sessions (10-11am, 11am-12pm and 12:30-1:30pm), so you can sign up for all three or just the times you can do. You’re welcome to stay for the speakers and food between.”

If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please register through the link below. If you need more info, contact dresden.goldberg@utdallas.edu.

Hey everyone! MarketScale is looking to create a small network of freelance graphic designers to take on small projects, social graphics, and infographics.

$15/hr and projects would be assigned/offered based on availability and need. Work remotely and pick up some extra cash on some fairly easy graphics.

If you're interested, let me know and I can get you in touch with our team on LinkedIn.

I just read about a group called Queer Design Club (https://queerdesign.club/) that is running a census right now to better understand the queer experience in design to deepen the conversation about diversity and inclusion: https://queerdesign.club/count/
