Jonathon Fite
President
Jonathon is the President of the Professional Development Institute at the University of North Texas, where he is also an Operations & Logistics lecturer. Prior to his roles at UNT, he was a Marketing & Supply Chain strategy consultant at Accenture. In 2008 he launched, and continues to manage, a pure pay-for-performance hedge fund. He serves as a Director for the UNT Foundation and TransAtlantic Petroleum, a NYSE listed oil & gas exploration company in Dallas. Jonathon has led several large program teams on complex projects including the HP-Compaq Merger and the Sprint-Nextel Merger. His work includes scoping large transformation programs and developing robust business cases to support change initiatives. He has both a Masters and Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering with a focus in Logistics from the University of Arkansas.
Melissa Harrison
Chief Financial Officer
Melissa is chief financial officer and is responsible for corporate financial reporting, benefit administration, budgeting, cash management and oversight of annual audit. She has been with PDI for 21 years. She also oversees the corporate event automation system, serves as secretary to PDI Board of Trustees and is involved in multiple PDI executive management functions. She holds a BBA from Texas Woman's University.
Jim Hoffman
National Sales Director
Jim is author of four programs that he teaches regularly around the US: “Intro to Upstream”,” Land for Non-Landmen”, “Production Operations” and “Oil & Gas Finance – Getting the Non-Financial to the Bottom Line”. His articles have appeared in various industry publications including The Oil & Gas Investor and The Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal. Prior to joining PDI, he served as Regional Manager, Director and VP of Sales for oil and gas software and consulting organizations, including Oracle Energy, PwC and Artesia Data Systems, all of whom were recognized as leaders in energy business software.
Linda Meux
Director, Corporate Training Services
Linda manages corporate training operations, working with companies to ensure successful events. During her more than three decades at PDI, she has worked in a number of administrative areas, but has spent the last two decades heavily involved in the administrative and customer service side of PDI's energy program curriculum. She earned a B.A. from Midwestern State University.
Mary Ann Crow
Director, Conferences and Administrative Services
Mary Ann manages all oil & gas conferences as well as the national oil & gas schools. She has been with the Professional Development Institute for more than three decades in a variety of roles.. In addition to her role as NAPAC chief conference administrator, she serves on the conference Board of Directors. She holds a degree from Colorado State University.
Tami Russell
Director, Public Programs & Distance Learning
Tami manages PDI’s extensive careers certificate program curriculum and all of PDI’s distance learning. For individuals seeking a new career or additional training to boost their existing career, Tami is often the first point of contact. For two decades, her attention to program detail and client satisfaction have made her stand out in her service to both PDI and the people we serve.
Carol Perry
Manager Marketing
Carol is responsible for assorted marketing duties including advertising, public relations and brand awareness. Prior to joining PDI in 1987, she worked as a reporter at newspapers in West Texas. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Texas Tech University and a M.A. in Education from University of Texas, Permian Basin. In addition to her duties at PDI, she is an active supporter of Denton schools and has served on numerous boards throughout the last two decades.
Rena Vincent
Staff Accountant
Rena is responsible for accounts payable, receivable, payroll and other general administrative duties. During her more than 14 years with PDI, and many additional years of experience in other organizations, she adds a broad range of accounting and administrative experience to PDI.
