Adventure Trips and Clinics

  • General Adventure Trip Information
The Outdoor Pursuits trip program offers the UNT Community a wide variety of outdoor experiences that are specifically designed to be beginner friendly, educationally focused, experience driven, fun and engaging. Adventure trips include hiking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, backpacking, and more. Trips range in duration from day, weekend, multi-day and even extended trips over winter and spring break. Trips are available to all UNT students, faculty, staff, Rec Center members, and their guests.
Register at the Outdoor Pursuits Center during the registration window for each trip. Trips fill quickly, typically within hours of registration opening, so we recommend arriving at the OPC as close to opening as possible.
  • General Clinic Information
Clinics are all FREE and provide the opportunity to learn specialized outdoor skills such as fire building, stargazing, bicycle maintenance and more! Clinics typically run one to two hours. Like adventure trips, clinics are available to all UNT students, faculty, staff, Rec Center members, and their guests. They're also specifically designed to be beginner friendly, educationally focused, experience driven, fun and engaging.
Register at the Outdoor Pursuits Center the day before the clinic.
