Cinemark College Assistance Program
The Cinemark College Assistance Program provides all eligible Cinemark team members the opportunity to secure their first bachelor’s degree, an online Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with several concentrations to choose from, at a discounted rate from the University of North Texas.
How it works
As a full-time eligible team member, including service center and region office employees, managers and assistant managers, with at least one year of service with Cinemark, you are eligible for an annual tuition coverage benefit for up to 15 online credit hours each year at UNT.
You also will be able to take advantage of additional federal and institutional financial aid to assist you with books and supplies and additional hours above the 15 credit hours the Cinemark College Assistance Program provides for each year. The Cinemark College Assistance Program tuition and fee discount will be coordinated with any other financial aid and scholarships offered to you for the award period. UNT has financial aid counselors who can help you through the process.
UNT custom-designed Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences online concentrations
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.) degree program at UNT accepts and builds on a technical/applied degree from an accredited community or technical college and/or military academic credits. A skilled advisor will help you select concentration areas that will complement your prior educational and work experience and guide you toward future career goals.
UNT designed six four-year B.A.A.S. degree program concentrations, specifically for Cinemark employees. Four of these concentrations, Business Management, Communications, Consumer Experience Management and Project Management, will be available for Fall 2019, with all six available starting in Spring 2020.
