UNT Ring Program

OFFICIAL UNT CLASS RING AND SPIRIT RING

The Official UNT Class Ring is a rite of passage and a symbol of your academic achievement at the University of North Texas. Rich in symbolism, the UNT Official Class Ring is a marker of your Mean Green pride and a tangible connection to generations of UNT alumni.

Official UNT Class Rings are reserved for students and alumni who have completed more than 60 credit hours at UNT.  It is never too late to take pride owning your UNT class ring, so alumni are also welcome to order rings. Our new line of UNT Spirit Rings are now available to anyone with a deep love for the university.

Official UNT rings are hand-crafted from quality materials right here in Denton by our ring partner Jostens. A portion of each ring sale goes toward UNT student scholarships.

All those who purchase official class rings and spirit rings are welcome to participate in the Official Ring Ceremony and Eagle Ring Dive presented by the UNT Alumni Association during the fall and spring semesters.

UNT Ring Ceremony Postponed

As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our communities, the UNT Alumni Association is taking steps to help keep our Mean Green family safe and healthy. Based on concern for the risk that assembling in crowded spaces may create, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the UNT Ring Ceremony scheduled for May 1, 2020.

We know many look forward to this experience as part of the transition from student to alumni, but nothing is more important than your well-being. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will take part in the Ring Ceremony on December 4, 2020.

Your UNT Ring has been re-routed to ship to the address on file when you placed your order. If you have any questions or need to update your shipping address, please contact Jostens Customer Service at 800-488-2173, ext. 1.

Cherish the Memories

The Official UNT Ring Presentation Ceremony is a meaningful milestone for UNT students and families. Each fall and spring semester, more than 800 Eagles gather in the UNT Library Mall to receive their rings and symbolically immerse them in the spirit and traditions of the University of North Texas.

Before the ceremony, students select a special guest to present their rings and participate in the ceremony. This is to honor family members and loved ones for their support along the UNT journey.

At the ceremony, guests gather to learn about the ring’s official symbols, then students simultaneously submerge their rings in the Library Mall fountains. McConnell Tower is illuminated overhead to celebrate each student’s academic victory.

The ceremony is an invitation-only event for students and alumni who have purchased official Jostens rings by the semester’s order deadline.
