Rachel Gain is a PhD student in Music Theory and a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Theory from the University of Western Ontario, a first class honours Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Birmingham, and an ATCL diploma in flute performance. Rachel's research interests include syntax in Hindemith's late music, twentieth-century tonality, music and gender and Baroque music.
