Research Interests

Dr. Johnson's research interests include factors that influence workplace learning processes and outcomes, such as, service leadership, customer service training, and employee engagement. She examines the intersection of HRD and tourism and hospitality. Her scholarship also focuses on international HRD with an emphasis on workforce education policy issues.
