UNT Foundation Endowed Fund for College of Information Scholarship

The UNT Foundation Endowed Fund for College of Information Scholarship offers this $1,000 award to incoming and continuing students.

  • Students who are incoming freshman, first-time in- college (FTIC), veterans and their families on good academic standing will be given first consideration.
  • Incoming freshmen who are in the top 50 percent of their high school graduating class and score at least 1100 on the SAT (Math/Reading Sections) or 24 on the ACT are eligible.
  • Current students with GPA 3.0 for undergraduate and 3.75 for graduate students are eligible.
  • International students admitted as incoming freshmen based on the required high school rank and test scores are considered. Students should ensure their most current transcripts and test scores are updated with UNT Admissions.

Students eligible for multiple scholarship opportunities will receive the most beneficial award. Receipt of multiple awards is limited by funding available.

The UNT Foundation Endowed Fund for College of Information Scholarship administered by Student Financial Aid & Scholarships (SFAS) are funded through UNT Foundation. As such, enrollment is required to receive the scholarships and disbursements are applied to tuition/fees for all recipients.

The 2018-2019 award is not qualified for wavier of non-resident tuition. Deadline is December 1, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be notified on December 5, 2018.
