Muhammad joined the Mean Green in July 2019 as a full-time athletic trainer working with the track and field programs after serving as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer for cross country and track and field at the University of Louisville and also served on a volunteer basis for game medical coverage for a variety of Louisville athletic programs, as well as the NCAA women's field hockey championship and the NCAA women's basketball tournament.Â
Muhammad earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville in 2016 and a masters degree in athletic training in 2018 from Texas A&M, where she worked with track and field, cross country and volleyball.
