Office of Information Technology

Mission

The mission of the information and technology department is to provide leadership in information and learning technologies by deploying secure and accurate infrastructures. We achieve this by developing effective and reliable information systems and excellent support services by partnering with our constituents to ensure technology resources are applied effectively and efficiently which increase quality and access for the university community.

Policies

UNT Dallas polices as well as Texas and US laws apply to all computing resources. Please make sure you adhere to these when using UNT Dallas computing resources. Also keep in mind that all computing and information systems at UNT Dallas are the property of the university and therefore you have no reasonable expectation of privacy when using those systems. If you have any questions, please contact the UNTD Help Desk or view the University’s information technology policies.

Services

The Office of Information Technology provides support for computing, instruction, telecommunications and data communications at UNT Dallas. Please visit our help desk located in Founders Hall room 127 or call 972-338-1448 for IT assistance or questions. In addition, the Office of Information Technology team offers one-on-one and group training sessions.
