G. Brint Ryan (’88) is founder and chairman/CEO of Ryan, an award-winning global tax services firm and the seventh largest corporate tax practice in the United States. Ryan is ranked among the Dallas 500 Most Influential Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth by D CEO Magazine, and he is a two-time recipient of the international Customer Service CEO of the Year Award from the Customer Service Institute of America for outstanding leadership.

In February, 2019, Ryan and his wife, Amanda, made the largest philanthropic commitment in UNT’s history. Their $30 million gift is slated to create several endowed chairs and fund academic programming including taxation and tax research, entrepreneurship, finance, logistics, information technology, cybersecurity, and behavioral accounting. The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is named in their honor.

Ryan is the chairman of both the UNT System Board of Regents and the UNT Kuehne Speaker Series Board, and he serves on the Board of Trustees for Pi Kappa Alpha. He is a past member of the UNT Accounting Advisory Board and the UNT College of Business Advisory Board. Ryan’s has been awarded the prestigious UNT Wings of Eagles Presidential Award and a UNT Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award for his leadership and generosity.
