Main Campus Highlights

Originally established above a hardware store on the Denton Square, the University of North Texas has grown a lot over the years to become a truly one-of-a-kind campus. You can grab a bite to eat at the first all-vegan cafeteria on a college campus at Mean Greens Café or take in a football game at the nation’s first and only college stadium certified LEED Platinum for new construction at Apogee Stadium. As you virtually explore our campus, you’ll learn more about what makes UNT a caring, creative community of resources and individuals determined to help you reach your goals in the classroom and beyond.

Discovery Park Campus

The North Texas region's largest research park with nearly 300 acres of space dedicated to the sciences, technology and engineering, UNT's Discovery Park is located 5 miles north of the UNT main campus. It includes a 590,000 square foot building, that houses the College of Engineering and the College of Information, and supports interactive and multidisciplinary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) research, education and training that benefits students, faculty and the community, and expands economic development by developing industry-university partnerships.

Frisco Campus

UNT at Frisco is an additional location of the University of North Texas focused on providing degree programs that get undergraduate students prepared for in-demand jobs and graduate students in a position to advance their careers. Because of our proximity to some of the world’s top companies and industries, UNT at Frisco is focused on industry collaboration and engagement. We aim to partner with industries and businesses to identify workforce demands and provide the programs and courses that will set our students up for success in the workforce of tomorrow.

With new state-of-the-art facilities, including academic, administrative and research spaces that promote collaboration, UNT’s 900-acre campus offers students, faculty and staff the best environment to pursue learning, research and creativity. The vibrant campus has 175 buildings, including 15 residence halls and Mean Green Village, with its Athletic Center and surrounding athletic fields. Campus facilities also include student and faculty art galleries as well as premier award-winning musical performance spaces providing cultural experiences for the campus and region.
