Decentralized Interprofessional education (D-IPE) is defined as when faculty from varying colleges or schools come together to design, facilitate, and control IPE that is fully embedded into a class or rotation.Often, the collaboration between colleges and schools are smaller (e.g., 2-4 professions coming together). Smaller collaborations can apply interprofessional collaborative practice content distinctly related to the instruction of a class or rotation.
