On the 100th anniversary of the U.S. involvement in the war, please join us for readings of poetry and prose written by American soldiers and civilians during World War I. Dr. Geoffrey Wawro, professor and Director of the Military History Center in the UNT Department of History, will facilitate discussion about the readings and provide insight into personal, political and environmental factors that may have inspired these writings.
This event is presented by the UNT Libraries Special Collections division to coincide with the spring exhibit The Lost Generation: World War I Poetry Selected from the Donald Thomas War Poetry Collection.
Refreshments will be provided.
