Policies are reviewed and approved by Human Resources, campus presidents and their administrative staff, legal counsel and system governance, the chancellor of the UNT System and the Board of Regents.
Each member of the UNT System Board of Regents is appointed by the Governor of Texas. The Regents serve as the governing body of the University of North Texas System, and are governed by Regents Rules.
