Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism students enjoy scholastic success and support while living alongside future members of the press in this academic community. Students in this community will have the opporuntity to enroll in JOUR 1210: Mass Communication and Society* during fall 2019 with other LLC members
Engagement opportunities include:
- Participating in study groups related to common courses taken together within the first year
- Exploring careers in various journalistic paths
- Attending field trips in the DFW area; previous field trips have included NBC5, the Dallas Morning News, the Star-Telegram, and the Denton Record-Chronicle.
The Journalism Living Learning Community is housed in Kerr Hall for the 2019 – 2020 academic year.
