Mayborn Ambassadors
Want to have fun, help fellow students, and gain experience by representing your school? Join the Mayborn Ambassadors!
The Mayborn Ambassador Program is a peer mentorship and prospective student outreach program for current students wanting to help serve in a leadership role with the Mayborn School of Journalism.
This is also an opportunity for ambassadors to visit high school television stations, journalism courses and school newspapers to speak about the program. They also assist the undergraduate advisors with student support events for the Mayborn, and help support and advocate for fellow students. Student ambassadors will attend events, college nights, conferences and other university functions to represent the school. They also receive a scholarship for their service.
To join the 2019-2020 Mayborn Ambassadors, download and fill out the application and send to Emily.Akins@unt.edu or submit in person to SYC 205 before Monday, February 25, 2019 at 5:00pm.
