The Digital Fabrication Lab (dFabLab) spans the length of the east corridor in the College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) building at the University of North Texas. The continuous four-room lab includes the Check-in Room (ART 361), Demo Room (ART 351), Laser Room (ART 351A), and the CNC Room (ART 366).

The dFabLab is an open resource for undergrad and graduate students to utilize the latest digital fabrication tools in the production of their work. It is paid for and maintained using a portion of the CVAD student fees. Because of this, all students currently enrolled in CVAD courses have access to the lab without any additional costs. Keep in mind that this is a space to make art, it is not a manufacturing facility for business or commercial ventures.
