At its meeting on April 10, 2019, the UNT Student Government Association Student Senate passed a resolution supporting the creation of open educational resources (OER).
The tenth annual UNT Open Access Symposium will be held May 17–18, 2019, at UNT Dallas College of Law. With a theme of “Is Open Access an Answer for Access to Justice?”, this year’s program will feature presentations and interactive sessions led by legal scholars and practitioners from Penn, Harvard, Duke, Saskatchewan, the Harris County Law Library, UNT, and more.
The University of North Texas Libraries and the UNT Dallas College of Law have seen an enthusiastic response to their call for proposals for the 10th annual UNT Open Access Symposium, to be held at the UNT Dallas College of Law.
We've received many excellent proposals in response to this year's call for proposals and have therefore decided to extend the symposium to two days: both May 17 and 18. Stay tuned for the program!
