We love the Union in the fall. 🍂 It’s the perfect time to sit outside with a cup of hot chocolate, have your study group on the grass, or finally schedule that Instagram photo shoot. Go take advantage of UNT’s fall glory!
Just a heads up–the Union is open normal hours but portions will be unavailable due to a weekend event. The Syndicate and Fuzzy’s is closed on Saturday, and will resume normal hours on Sunday. We’re also showing the movie “Hustlers” at 7pm tonight, so make sure to stop by!
Right outside Wells Fargo and next to the ESSC we have donation bins set up by UNT organizations collecting items for different non-profits! In case you’ve missed it on your way to class, take a moment to look at the items being collected to see if you have anything to donate. It only takes a moment and a small action to have a huge impact on the life of someone else!

“I’ve just always read [GQ and Rolling Stone] and my mom used to subscribe to them so they would come to our house and I would just sit there and read. I thought you know what, I want to write something that’s going to be in here...I’m really nosy naturally and I’ve always liked to write. And so the two of them together is just the perfect combination for me I guess, to be nosy and get paid for it.”
“My favorite piece that I’ve written was I did a behind-the-scenes type of th...ing with the North Texas Dancers, the dance team. I used to dance in high school and I stopped because I messed up my knee really bad. I was just curious how that kind of culture continued in college. So me and a photographer spent a lot of time at their practices last year in September and we just followed them around the game on the field. It was my favorite because I usually don’t write anything related to sports or anything, I usually stick to music, and it was fun just talking to the girls on the team and just seeing how hard they work. Because honestly, they work just as hard as the football players do.”
