Congratulations, NCAA All-Regional Cross Country finalists: Florian Lussy (Jr), Jack Beaumont (Fr), and Rea Iseli (Sr). Lussy’s 3rd place finish qualifies him to the NCAA finals in Madison, Wi next week.
Exciting News: Alumni Letter Winners attending the Homecoming Game against Rice, on Saturday will be offered Pre-Game Sideline Passes. Just meet at the Letter Winners Association Tailgate tent and update your contact information. Don't forget to stop by the Track & Field tailgating tent right across from the Letter Winners Tent under the big oak tree on The Hill. Fantastic “Weekend of Champions”! Started on Friday afternoon with a panel discussion with the women’s team, from UNT school record holders Ananka (Clark) Allen, former assistant coach Sammy Dabbs, Chastity Stewart and 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee, Alysha (Adams) Courier. Topped off by Alysha’s induction ceremony. So blessed to be a part of a wonderful legacy at The University of North Texas.

Good day at Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival. Men were 2nd Division I team behind Arkansas. The women were the 5th overall Division I team. Rea Iseli finished 9th in the women’s race. While Florian Lussy was the highest finishing North Texas men’s runner. Next competition in three weeks at Texas A&M.
Week 2 underway, and I’m still smiling 😆! Looking forward to a great season on the track!!!
