How can I reset or change my password?

You can reset your EUID password at the Account Management System.

 

There are two ways to reset your EUID passsword:

 

Follow these steps if you know your current password:

 

1.  Login to the Account Management System.

 

2.  Click the "Change Password" link on the left side of the webpage.

 

3.  You will be prompted to create a new password.  Your password must meet the password security requirements described here.  Enter your desired new password into the fields and click the "Change Password" button.  If the password is not accepted, please see the password security requirements and try a new password.

Follow these steps if you do not know your current password or your password is expired:

1.  Go to the Account Management System Password Reset page.

2.  Enter your information to confirm your identity.

3.  You will be prompted to respond with the answer you supplied to the secret question you selected when you initially activated your EUID.

4.  You will be prompted to create a new password.  Your password must meet the password security requirements described here.  Enter your desired new password into the fields and click the "Change Password" button.  If the password is not accepted, please see the password security requirements and try a new password.

 

 

How can I check my UNTD email off campus?

This can be done by going to https://webmail.unt.edu.

Username equals Dallas\EUID

Password equals your EUID password

 

My old password is saved in my internet browser. What should I do?

 

To clear saved passwords in your browser:

 

Internet Explorer 6.0
  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Click "Internet Options"
  • Go to the "Content" tab
  • Click the "Autocomplete"button
  • Click the "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords" buttons
  • Click the "OK" button

Internet Explorer 7.0+

  • Go to the Tools menu (Alt + T).
  • Choose Internet Options.
  • Under the General Tab Look for Browsing History.  Click Delete.
  • In the Delete Browsing History window choose "Delete Passwords."
  • In IE 8 select Passwords and Click Delete.
  • Click Close.
Mozilla Firefox 
  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Click on "Options..." at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
  • Click on "Saved Passwords..."
  • Click "Remove All"
  • When prompted select "Yes" to remove all passwords
Google Chrome
  • Click on the wrench icon on the top right corner of the browser:
  • Click on "Options" from the drop down menu.
  • Click on "Show Saved Passwords."
  • Click on "Remove All."
  • Finally, click "Yes" when it asks you if you want to remove all passwords.
 Netscape 7.1 +
  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Click "Password Manager"
  • Click "Manage Stored Passwords"
  • Select the appropriate entries and click the "Remove" button
  • Click the "Close" button
