About this Event

The UNT Library is hosting its 4th Annual Human Library in the Willis Library Forum on March 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Human Library is an international program founded in Denmark in 2000 to help combat prejudice and misunderstanding. The Human Library features “Human Books” – representatives of traditionally misunderstood or stigmatized groups – who are available for “check out” by Library visitors. These conversations take place in a safe space where readers are able to ask questions, and books are able to tell their stories in a way that is mutually beneficial and promotes understanding and openness.

This year’s Human Book titles include: Pastor, Recovering Addict, Two Moms, Judaism, and Bipolar, among several others. Come hear them tell their stories!
