NIH mobilizes research to address new coronavirus

The coronavirus outbreak that began in China in late 2019 has focused the world’s attention on how best to slow transmission, diagnose and treat those with COVID-19. NIH is working to develop a vaccine, identify existing therapeutics and encourage coronavirus research.
