The College of Information offers the following master's degree programs:

A Master of Arts in Linguistics and  Master of Arts in English as a Second Language  offer students broad training in all core areas of the discipline. Our MA programs prepare students for challenging careers in a variety of industries, including government, education, law, bioinformatics, and natural language processing. The MA in ESL specifically prepares students for careers in teaching English as a second and/or foreign language and language arts instruction for K-12 (with additional certification and coursework from the College of Education). 

A Master of Science in Learning Technologies provides a foundation in learning and educational technologies for the creation, delivery and enhancement of the learning experience. Degree tracks in Instructional Systems (IS), Instructional Systems Technology (IST), Instructional Systems Design (ISD), or Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) are offered. The Master's program prepares graduates for dynamic roles in Instructional Technology and Learning Technologies in both academic and corporate settings. This program is aligned with the revised standards published by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

A Master of Science in Library Science OR Information Science prepares students to succeed in a wide range of library and information science positions including digital image management, librarianship for schools, youths or distributed learning, legal or health informatics, information organization, and information systems.
