Who is a post-baccalaureate student?
You are considered a post-baccalaureate student if you have completed the equivalent of a bachelor's degree at a regionally accredited college or university prior to enrolling at UNT Dallas. Post-baccalaureate students can take courses to earn an initial teacher certification, earn a second bachelor's degree, prepare for graduate or professional school, or for personal enrichment.

Post-baccalaureate: Second Bachelor
In this status, post-baccalaureate students may register for courses leading to another bachelor's degree - this includes students pursuing initial teacher certification. Students are not eligible to earn a second bachelor's degree in the same field of study as their earned bachelor's degree; students cannot be considered for undeclared or general studies. Students applying in this status may have additional requirements based on the program chosen. Students in this status may apply for financial aid. Post-baccalaureate: Undergraduate Non-degree
This status is reserved for students who have finished their bachelor's degree, but need a few more undergraduate level (prerequisite) courses before applying to graduate/professional school (medical or law) or just want to pick up extra knowledge. Student are restricted to enrolling only in undergraduate level courses. Students in this status are not eligible for financial aid. Complete the UNT Dallas UG Post Baccalaureate Application.
Post-baccalaureate: Graduate Non-degree
This status is reserved for students who have completed the minimum of a bachelor's degree and the coursework taken is generally intended for professional enhancement and not taken in the pursuit of a degree or certification. It is advisable that you contact the department offering the courses of interest to ensure that their courses are available to non-degree students. Typically, graduate post-baccalaureate students may transfer up to twelve (12) graduate-level credit hours to a graduate degree program.
