The UNT Art Gallery in the College of Visual Arts and Design reopens in a brand new space, after two years of construction. Our first exhibition features sculptures and prints by the Los Angeles based artist Alison Saar. The exhibition, titled Mirror Mirror: The Prints of Alison Saar from the Colllections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, explores the body as a site of personal identity. It features a new print created by the artist at UNT, in collaboration with CVAD students and Professor of Art Lari Gibbons as master printer. The UNT Art Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon - 5 p.m. and Thursday nights until 8 p.m. Mirror Mirror runs through May 11, 2019.
