The UNT System Budget & Analytics team has informed us that there were some data issues early this morning with Cognos.

ITSS and UNT System were able to restore the Cognos data to what it was yesterday. This means that the data in Cognos is Wednesday EIS data.

The University Budget Office has successfully transitioned to our new home at the SSB (Support & Services Building). Computers and phones have been restored.

Our ITSS group is proactively trying to avoid any further issues with the Cognos reports.

To improve stability on the system, Cognos will undergo maintenance at 5pm today and will be unavailiable until Saturday morning.

Please plan accordingly.

We believe we had a successful refresh process last night. COGNOS reports are available and should have fresh data. We’ve spot checked a few areas and all seems to be fine. But, if you find any anomalies please let the Budget Office team know so that we can research the issue. We would like to extend thanks to our colleagues: UNT Decision Support, UNTS ITSS, and UNTS Budget & Analytics for their diligent work to get us back online.

Good morning,

We have been notified by UNT System Budget and Analytics that there are data issues on the Cognos environment. There were some issues on the data load last night, therefore Cognos environment data is not consistent and it will be disable for the day.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we will keep you posted on any information.

We have been notified that COGNOS reports are unavailable. Due to the system being set on an overnight refresh, the system will be unavailable all day. We are hopeful the issue will be resolved and the reports will be available for you tomorrow.

Due to an ITSS infrastructure issue, Cognos will not be available until tomorrow morning (02/20/19).
