Heavy snow, damaging winds and whiteout conditions from northeast New York State to New England

Heavy snow will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes and expand into parts of the Lower Great Lakes and Northeast. The heavy snow will move into Maine and continue over New England through Thursday. Lake Effect snow is also expected to the lee of the Great Lakes.
