Today was a big day for the college and university as a whole as we celebrated our new Additive Manufacturing Lab!
With the equipment here in the AML and in the Materials Research Facility, our students and faculty will be able to expand their research largely within the fields of aerospace, biomedical, and oil and gas industries.

Another successful open house – this time from Biomedical Engineering. Students, faculty and staff were able to tour the labs, check out the equipment, and learn about projects happening in the department.

Igniting research and collaboration: The first of many departmental open houses was a huge success! Many students and faculty opened their doors and showcased their research, labs and equipment to fellow faculty, staff, and students.
Brayden Cloud, Anwesh Baisyat, Nick Tindle, and Gabriel Castro won first place for the American Airlines Challenge at HackTX this weekend!
The team built a device that uses RFID technology to scan bags checked at the airport, saving employee time and labor, and ultimately, millions per year for the airline.
