The UNT Libraries has renewed our membership in the Center for Research Libraries (CRL). Through this partnership of over 200 university, college, and independent research libraries, faculty and students now have access to a large collection of electronic and physical items.

British Periodicals Online provides access to the searchable, full text of hundreds of periodicals from the late seventeenth century to the early twentieth, comprising millions of high-resolution facsimile page images. Topics covered include literature, philosophy, history, science, the social sciences, music, art, drama, archeology and architecture.

The library is currently offering trials of several resources containing British and American periodicals: Gale British Library Newspapers, Archive of Americana from NewsBank, and British and American Periodicals from ProQuest. These trials will be available until September 30, 2015. Please share your feedback via this survey.

LGBT Thought & Culture provides a unique look into LGBT life from the late 19th to the early 21st centuries.

The libraries review usage statistics of subscription online journals in order to assess which ones to retain and which can be canceled. We do this by capturing clicks on links into our systems.  But, importantly, we have no way of knowing about PDF copies uploaded to Canvas, even though it might be used frequently. Learn how to make sure the resources that are important to you are counted.

The UNT Library recently purchased two new collections of streaming video and other content -- PBS Video and Engineering Case Studies -- that are available on the Alexander Street Press platform.

Kanopy Streaming offers full streaming access to films from to a broad film collection that includes top producers such as Criterion Collection, PBS, Kino Lorber and many new releases.
