UNT Transportation Services is excited to partner with VeoRide to bring a bike share pilot program to campus.

The pilot program will began on Monday, Aug. 27, with 100 teal VeoRide bicycles on campus.

An additional 150 UNT branded bicycles will be added in the middle of October.  The first one hundred will be divided and deployed at Bruce Hall, General Academic Building, Kerr Hall, Legends Hall, Physical Education Building, Rawlins Hall, Victory Hall, West Hall, and at Fouts Field.

During the pilot program, UNT community members who sign up for VeoRide using their UNT email address will get the first ride for free up to 30 minutes. If the first ride is under 30 minutes, the rest of that time will be applied to their second ride.

After the first 30 minutes, students can either pay the regular price of $.50 for 15 minutes or purchase a monthly or yearly unlimited ride plan option.

UNT Transportation Services will pay part of the unlimited ride plan options, giving students a more affordable option. Members of the UNT community can purchase a monthly unlimited ride plan for $10 instead of the regular $13.99 or a yearly unlimited ride plan for $40 instead of the regular $48.99.

During the pilot program, Transportation Services will collect data to determine how we can partner with other transportation entities to enhance the shared bike experience.
