Lifeguarding
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive American Red Cross Lifeguarding /First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications. The course cost includes necessary books and supplies.
The class lasts three days and participants must attend the full duration of every class. The minimum age to participate in the course is 15 years old.

Lifeguard Instructor
This three day course is designed for currently certified lifeguards to enhance their skills by gaining the next level certification for an instructor position.

Lifeguard Recertification
Designed to update near-expiring lifeguard certifications. Participants who successfully pass will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid certificate.

*Please note: Non-members must be UNT faculty, staff, or retirees. Non-members can register for kids swim classes, lifeguarding courses, and private swim lessons. Members of the community can only register for the lifeguarding courses at the non-member rate. Classes may be combined or canceled due to low enrollment.
