Data Management

This guide provides data and research materials management resources for the UNT community that can help researchers meet federal funding agency requirements for data management plans as part of their grant applications.

Do you know where your data is?

Most researchers do not use sustainable archival practices for storing research data. A survey of data management practices at UNT and UNT Health Science Center (2013) found that many researchers rely on office computers and even thumbdrives for long-term storage.
